Make sure "Print Services for Unix" is installed before installing printers.

To verify or install, go to the Add/Remove Programs control panel. Select "Windows components".

Select "Other Network File and Print Services" and check the "Details".

Make sure the UNIX services are installed. 

Go to the Printers control panel and open the item titled "Add Printer."

Click Next. Select Local Printer, and deselect automatic detection.

Choose "Create a new port" and select LPR Port.

Enter the print server and queue from the information at the top of this document.

Select the appropriate printer driver and finish the printer setup. Name the printer as its queue name.
